Active means no more manufactured but still in stock? I thought

I can't imagine a way of help now. The work that has to be done is
all on the one physical prototype that I have at home and building
another one is relatively a lot of work because it's partially SMD airwire with tight parasitic inductance requirements.  
Special purpose-built scope probes have to be used, shielding and filtering is critical.
