I've produced double-sided Ronja receiver boards using toner transfer
OK, although they are tricky to reflow solder and it's easy to end up
with shorts.
You can solder them by hand but it takes ages. I did one using toaster
oven reflow, the trouble is getting it right. You really need something
with the gauge of a hypodermic needle to apply the solder paste...
I wouldn't recommend toner transfer for the Twisters. You can get away
with it for the transmitters and receivers.
