Once someone told me that if you put a banknote into an envelope between two sheets of aluminium foil, that it will not be stolen. Now it seems to be logically confirmed.

Here is an article how a thief employee of Czech Post stole international letters and shined them through to see if there is a banknote or jewelry. If you put aluminium foil there no light pases through and he cannot see what's inside. Unfortunately only in Czech:
