Hi Deepak,

Cheap optical filters have been tried and the result has been worse, not
better. Cheap colour filters remove more useful bandwidth than noise.
Any better and the result suddenly is not worth the investment.

I was wondering is adding an optical filter in the Rx module would help
?
Inserting a band pass optical filter, after the lens, which would allow
only
a range of frequencies
emitted by the LED to pass through,
I think as a result of reducing the noise, it should increase the range.
Has anyone tried this ?
