There is 1MHz signal but it's not modulated on 1MHz signal.

Yes. Connect two Ronjas together, one
with mechanics, the other without.
Face the one without mechanics against
a fibre optic network card set to 10Mbps
and it should theoretically work. Not
tested practically, though. You also have to match the network card's
optical wavelength reasonably and maybe
you'll have problems with signal too
strong.
