[Ronja] ronja bridge with fibre ethernet interface

optical communication but I think that a normal fibre optic ethernet
pci card also use some sort of modulation for transmitting the data.

So here is my question. Would it be possible to build only an optical
converter from a fibre optical ethernet pci card to ronja and vise
versa?

Signal path:
TX: optical output pci interface ---> photo receiver converter --->
ronja LED or Laser
RX: ronja Photoreceiver ---> converter LED emitter ---> optical input
pci interface
