[Ronja] Lively discussion on Ronja on Whirlpool

Hi all from Canberra Australia,

This project has caught the attention of a few people over here - see

Basically we are discussion adapting it to Australian conditions by
improving power output and possibly multiplexing multiple wavelengths using
a prism at the receiving end to split the wavelengths out with low
attenuation, to separate RONJA devices each hooked up to it's own NIC and
recombined on a Linux box to one data stream.  I.e - get up to maybe
50Mbit/s or more.

I encourage interested readers to register with the whirlpool discussion
forum and contribute to the discussion.  Also, I will relay responses from
this mailing list back to the Whirlpool forum.
