[Ronja] Twister and pulse extenders

Hi:

I would like to understand better the twister.
I would appreciate a lot if someone could help me.

In the FAQ is said that the 5Mhz (preamble) and 10Mhz (CRC) pulses are
merged together by U63. But why they are merged together ?

I'm trying to understand the mechanism of separating and sending the
frames and getting them back together in the other side. Could someone
help me ? I read the FAQ but I don't quite understand it yet.
