[Ronja] Sealant reaction...

This is true, but wrong silicon sealant with active oxygen can speed up 
rust process even on steel and other materials (every material that 
suffers from oxidation). The process lasts 10 months for PP-H - but how 
long it would take to rust steel? I think not so longer. It should be 
mentioned in Ronja instructions the silicon used to fix the lens should 
not be sanitary with active oxygen (O1 derived from per-acetic acid), 
but rather normal.
