EN version:

Hi there,

so I have the answer. It is pretty complicated in czech, but I will try
my best to translate it into english.

cite:
"Your friend (meant you) probably used unappropriate silicon and even
silicon glue. Sanitary silicon contains - with highest probability - a
reactant, that destroys microbes, rust etc., but it uses active oxygen
to reach this effect (free O2 moleculas). This sealant is used in
bathrooms. I do not know the manufacturer of this sealant, but it
obviously contains per-acetic acid which was used to desinfect places.
It simply releases oxygen and stinks like vinegar."

As far as I know, oxygen oxidizes nearly everything and PP-H is not
suited to be exposed to UV, O2 and other harmful biases.

Be glad, that it broke before you installed it anywhere.

CZech version:

Ahoj,

anglictiny.

citace:
"Kamarád si vzal asi nevhodný silikon a možná i lepidlo.

zareni, cisty kyslik atp.
